Old Homestead Farm
2855 County Road 29
Bluffton, Ohio 45817

Old Homestead Farm is a family farm that has been around since 1881 and the current children are the sixth generation to live here. It has always raised field crops (corn, soybeans, wheat, and hay0 and in the past has raised cattle, hogs, and sheep. In the oil boom era it was the site of several oil wells that have since all been capped off. We currently raise goats. For the past fifteen years we have had both dairy and meat goats born and raised on this farm, many of them are sold to 4-H children for fair projects at several of the local county fairs, and the remaining are sold for meat or milk production. We currently are milking several does for personal use and consumption.
